Established in 1985, Dolce&Gabbana is one of the leading international groups in the luxury goods sector.
The founders, Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana, have always been the creative and stylistic source of the two brands, Dolce&Gabbana and D&G, and the originators of growth strategies based on balanced development and focus on the core business.
The Group designs, produces and distributes high-end clothing, leather goods, footwear and accessories, through licensee partners it also manages the production and distribution of the beauty and eyewear lines, timepieces and jewels.

As far as the structure of the Group is concerned, Dolce&Gabbana has within it the fundamental assets for continuous development: ownership of the brands and the management and control of the three operating divisions,  Production, Distribution and Licences. The Group has direct control over the entire value chain, from creation to sale, with the exception of products under license. Production operations are headed up by Dolce&Gabbana Industria S.p.A., which operates the two production facilities in Legnano (MI) and Incisa in Val D’Arno (FI).

Global development guidelines for the distribution network come from the headquarters in Milan. Directly operated stores in Italy are controlled by a company of the Group in charge of managing the retail channel; in the rest of Europe, stores are managed by local companies reporting to Dolce&Gabbana S.r.l.
The monitoring of the remaining foreign markets is entrusted to subsidiaries in New York, Tokyo and Hong Kong, which are entirely controlled by Dolce&Gabbana S.r.l., and co-ordinate the management of the retail and wholesale distribution in their respective territorial areas. With specific reference to Mainland China, the Hong Kong subsidiary operates directly on the territory through the branch in Shanghai, whose offices have been operational since October 2010.

The first house brand is Rebecca, name of the eldest daughter in Testi family, where the jewel becomes icon fo style and fashion.  They are jewels of strong personality and absolutely.

Innovative in terms of material, design and manufacturing techniques.  After a few years was created Kris, name of the second child of the family. The brand is dedicated to young people of those who feel such.  The growth of the brand is constant and continuous and experiment with a new  combinations of materials.  The comany immediatelly works to create brands, to make a world of value and emotional belongness, unusual in an industrie dominated by unbranded products.

Year 2007 was marked by the special award named "Confindustria Award for excellence" in the category of innovation, which confirms the inexhaustible attention paid by Testi Group to this corporate value.  The prize is meant to be a spure to do far better, to keep innovative and growing.

In the same year was born Carlotta Lyrics, named just after the third daughter, Carlotta Lyrics, development of a concept of cross-product with a different targets of society.
